      LastPass is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer:

      In this role you will work on BOSS, the e-commerce and sales back office system of LastPass, supporting internal users and background processes of subscriptions. BOSS drives the background flows for subscription management and allows sales representatives to manage accounts.

      Who will you work with?

      • You will work closely with the agile teams responsible for the development and maintenance of the LastPass product and its back office
      • You will collaborate with product managers to shape the future of the product by defining adequate strategy to verify the software

      What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

      • Participate in requirement analysis, high level planning and estimation. Collaborate with product owners to deliver features while meeting team deadlines
      • Advocate for proper analysis and resolution of non-functional requirements, such as highly availability, fault tolerance, scalability, etc.
      • Help Product Management in keeping cost and benefits. Avoid golden plating without building unmanageable technical debt
      • Develop, test and maintain the solutions in the domain of your team
      • Cooperate with other teams working on the product
      • Create and maintain internal technical documentation
      • Participate in code reviews
      • Participate in community driven decision making. Maintain our coding- and design guidelines and influence the technical roadmap
      • Work complying with our processes
      • Coach and mentor junior and medior engineers
      • Work in a highly Agile development team, as well as with other cross-functional teams
      • Work with a strong team of enthusiastic and talented experts
      • Take part in forming the product, designing, and shipping new features that solve our customers’ needs
      • Work in a cross-functional, agile team, taking ownership of features
      • Work on a highly successful, customer-facing application where your work can help millions of users each day

      What does it take to work at LastPass?

      As a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) your background should look like:

      • Experience in developing web applications in C# and .NET Core
      • Experience in creating and consuming REST APIs
      • Experience in developing, maintaining, and refactoring code of high complexity
      • Basic knowledge of Docker and web security
      • Good written and verbal communication skills in English

      The ideal candidate:

      • Consistently sees the overall big picture situation, besides focusing on the details and specific tasks
      • Has excellent problem-solving ability
      • Has the ability to transfer knowledge effectively

      It’s great, but not required:

      • Basic experience with Angular/React
      • Knowledge of state-of-the-art development tools, techniques, and standards related to Containerization and Cloud Native Applications
      • Familiarity with cloud services (preferably AWS - EC2, container services)
      • Experience developing with relational database services and EF Core
      • Experience with version control, build, and bug tracking systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Jira
